Questions of the Week # 38

  1. Are you living in a fantasy world all your own? I live in reality. I don't want to live in fantasy and wake up one day that everything's all gone...
  2. You’re sitting on a small rock with your 5,6,7,8 years old child in your lap, watching the blue sea together, what would you talk about? I will talk about how nature was created by the wonder of God's power.
  3. If you have all the time in the world, what would you change about your life? I wouldn't change one bit anything about me. I am happy for what I am through God's wonderful blessing.
  4. What is the best thing that ever happened to you this past week? Spending time with my family.
  5. I seldom go out without money in my pocket.
  6. Is there something you will never do? Yeah. You've got to ask me.
  7. Naughty or nice…which have you been this year? Both
  8. How self-conscious are you? I am not too confident. I oftentimes fuss over people's opinions of me like when I was asking for the best diet pills available, I was worried what people might think but my Prince would always reassure me that I'm OK and there's nothing to worry, other people's opinions of me won't matter at all.
  9. Do you think photos of you capture your essence? Not really. But I believe that pictures can speak a thousand words.
  10. When I get angry, I cry and write and write.

Job Well Done!

Finally, the Lainy's Birthday Bash Contest is over and I say with a bang! I would like to take this chance to thank those special people who have made this contest possible.
I am so much indebted to Uncle Che of AZ Blogging for making things happen for this blog right from the conceptualization of the contest and taking over the reins of this blog in my absence. He took a leave of absence from work just to oversee the drawing of winners and its declaration. He did things in a very transparent manner. He did everything far beyond my expectations and my gratefulness to him is endless. I owe him a whole lot. Words are not enough to express how much I am so much grateful having him around. Having him as a friend is such a treasure. Thanks so much, Uncle Che!
The contest sponsors are also well-deserved of huge recognition. They are the SOUL of this endeavor. If not for their unselfish and generous gestures of support, this contest wouldn't have been possible. They are the following:

Expressing the Real Me Twinkletoe Writing Space Everyday Life My So Called Life In The Eyes of the Beholder A Woman Under God's Grace Random Ramblings Briggs Time for Escapades

To CONTEST SPONSORS: Please, Please, Please... wait for my signal before you do the sending of credits. I will coordinate with each one of you before we simultaneously send the prizes to the winners.
My heartfelt thanks goes out to all bloggers who took time in participating in this undertaking. The success of this contest is all because of you! Twenty nine (29) participants for my 29th birthday, what a coincidence, huh! ;-)

Thanks as well to ENTRECARD for helping me promote this contest at the EC Blog. It's HERE. Thank you Rose of Waterrose Handcrafted Obsessions for constantly corresponding with me. I really do appreciate your help.

CONGRATULATIONS to the winners of the Lainy's Birthday Bash Contest, to wit:

  1. Briggs Time for Escapades
  2. This Is So Me
  3. Twinkletoe Writing Space
  4. Joys in Life

If you want to see the comprehensive process of how the randomizing of winners was done, its HERE.

As previously mentioned by Uncle Che, I have surprise prizes for some special people. The first ever entry submitted in this contest shall receive 500 EC Credits. Congrats Tricia of Proud Mommy! I have also picked out the BEST KEEPSAKE made out of the entries submitted. She will similarly receive 500 EC credits. Congrats Wendy of From the Eyes of my Heart!

I will be featuring all entries with keepsakes to somehow recognize the effort and time you've put in. They are so much treasured and appreciated because eventhough that part of the contest requirement was optional, you still went through the trouble of coming up with such beautiful virtual gifts for me.

There is a remaining 3, 000 EC credits from the 20, 000 EC credits donated by the sponsors and I deemed it best to donate to the cause of EntreCard for Religion. This is a movement of a group of bloggers who are helping non-popular blogs to promote religion regardless of sect and beliefs for as long as it tries to inculcate that there is one Supreme Being. The credits which shall be accumulated by the EC for Religion are all being donated to these blogs.

Thank you all for never getting tired of swinging by this blog. Until my next contest! ;-)

New Car for My Prince

My Prince got a new car! Yeah! He needed to give up the old one because the maintenance cost is killing him. It took him a long time before he was able to find the best buy possible. There was a need to have a car insurance comparison. The new car purchase is a small one but for now it serves the purpose so well. Mummy Carol like it so much! My Prince told me that they will have to make do with a very cute one until such time that we will have kids of our own and the need to purchase a bigger one will be very necessary.

Top 25 EntreCard Droppers for October

Another month had gone by. It's high time again to recognize the Top 25 regular and faithful droppers of this blog for the month of October. The Top 10 blogs were able to drop every single day of October, without fail!
I keep recognizing my Top Droppers in the past but unknowingly, I haven't really given them due recognition for their effort and time because the links weren't directed at their respective blogs. The links were directed at the EntreCard site, thus acknowledgment isn't really for them. This time around, I would like to give credit to where it is due.
Do click the links of my Top Droppers and be taken to their beautiful blogs.

Featured BFF: Lollii of My Kawaii Life

Mother and Daughter

I find this pretty young lass very amazing. And why not? She is the youngest blogger I know. At the age of 14, I have always wondered how she has learned so much! She has managed her blog, My Kawaii Life, more frequently despite her tight sked at school.
I truly admire her writing skills. At a very young age, she can express and articulate herself so well. Her Mom, who happens to be my officemate, must be so very proud of her! She is truly lucky to have such a beautiful, intelligent, kind and sweet daughter. Not too many Moms gets so lucky like you, Ate Vi! You must have realized it by now, hehe!

This post is very special because Vyne, as I'd like to call her, and Lollii to many of you, will be turning a year older. She is an achiever and I know she can go a long way. Just stay focused on your goals and everything will be within your reach.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, VYNES! Hugs and Kisses from me!
